Stay on track
Keep these important deadlines in mind to stay organized, on track and ready for the start of the school year.

Get connected early. Convert your JOINid to a UTORid (your digital student credential) as early as May 1 to unlock online services.

Submit your photo and documents online. Skip the start-of-term rush for your U of T student ID (TCard) by submitting your photo and documents online starting May 1.

Submit your complete student intake package by July 14 to make sure your accommodations are in place by September.

Plan ahead and check your specific residence website for move-in details. Move-in days for St George are between Friday, August 22 – Sunday, August 24. Dates and times vary by residence.

Complete the Building a Culture of Consent at the University of Toronto: Consent, Communication and Sexual Violence Prevention Education Module for Students before August 25.

Make friends, build community and get support as an international student at U of T. Apply before Friday, September 1 to be matched with a mentorship group.

Start building a record that shows off your skills
Your U of T Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is an official document that highlights the skills and leadership experience you build beyond the classroom. It’s a major boost when you’re applying for jobs or grad school. Think of it as a verified resume of university-approved activities, backed by U of T staff and faculty.
Get involved with Student Life this summer to earn your first CCR validation in four steps:
1.
Enroll in the Orientation Starter Pack Workflow on Folio with your UTORid or JOINid.
2.
Attend one Centre for Learning Strategy Support workshop. Find them under 'Build academic skills' in the prep guide.
3.
Attend two events or workshops marked with the 'CCR' badge in the prep guide.
4.
Complete a reflection in Folio that tells us how you plan to get involved at U of T.
Connect. Learn. Thrive.
